Welcome to the River Hills Sharks Webpage!

We had 2 girls break team records in 2019!!! Give it up for Riley Stephens and Gracie Basara!!!

Riley Stephens, in her final 25 yard freestyle event in the Finale Meet, broke the Sharks' 9/10 girls 25 Freestyle Record with a time of 14.02 seconds, breaking the 14.05 second record set by Anna Pettus in 2008.

Gracie Basara, who opened the "record breaking floodgates" back in 2017 when she set new records for Girls 6 and under 25yd Freestyle and 25yd Backstroke, ending a 4 year hiatus of Sharks' record-breaking, once again had a phenomenal season in 2019, breaking not 1, not 2, but 3 records in the Girls 7/8 age group:
25yd Freestyle with a time of 16.03 seconds, breaking the 16.32 second record set by Samantha Burkett in 2008,
25yd Backstroke with a time of 19.28 seconds, breaking the 20.09 second record set by Samantha Burkett in 2008, and
25yd Butterfly with a time of 17.58 seconds, breaking the 18.44 second record set by Marisa Harkey in 2005.

Thanks for visiting our website! Be sure to check the "team info" tab for our calendar and general team information (practices, meets, new parent info, etc)

Parents, we simply cannot run our meets without all hands on deck literally!! Parents are expected to volunteer at all home meets, at a minimum.
If you have any questions about volunteering, send an email to Jessica Neely at jessicalneely@yahoo.com.

Team information is communicated via 3 main channels: email, website and "remind" text. If you are not receiving emails or text messages, please send an email to info@riverhillssharks.com.

Have a vacation planned during the swim season? Going to miss a week because of summer camp? No problem! All we ask is that you
PLEASE let us know
as soon as possible! Just send a list of dates you will be away to info@riverhillssharks.com. Thanks!

: Texts are typically sent as a general reminder about an upcoming event/meet or in "last-minute" weather related cancellations/uncertainties. This is a one-way group text. Keep in mind that replies are only seen by one of our volunteers, who will do her best to help you, but is only a parent, just like you.

Directions for being added to our text communication will be posted here for our 2020 season.

Our season culminates in an End of Season Banquet, typically on a Sunday evening after the Finale Meet. This is when swimmers are recognized for their hard work all season long and get to celebrate their success together. Trophies, ribbons, "100 Point Club" towels and more are given out, as our coaches host this event on the River Hills Country Club lawn.

For those of you swimming in the off season or looking to improve your technique, click here to see videos for all areas of swimming.
